Dear Gene:

	This is a plea to assign contiguous space to LOTS.  When LOTS
is starting, there will be little expertise available, and it is
important that the manager, the secretary and the users all be in
sight of one another and the machine.  Success in making do with
a staff of three may depend on this.

	It is also very desirable for LOTS to have some office space,
however small, as soon as possible.  We will put a terminal in it
connected to the AI Lab, and it will facilitate getting work out
of student volunteers in converting Fortran programs from the 370.
